This toolkit would not have been possible without the incredible, dedicated work of our learning cohort members:

We also want to thank Amity Foster (Data Director) and Liam McMahon (Civic Engagement Director) at ISAIAH, who took part in the implementation process but were not part of the research project.

We have deep appreciation for the leadership of each organization, who carved out time for their staff to prioritize this work. They have generously given us permission to share lessons, stories, and recommendations throughout this toolkit.

This research was the product of a collaboration between The Movement Cooperative and Analyst Institute. The work was divided as follows: The Movement Cooperative partnered with People’s Action, Fair Count, and OPIN, and Analyst Institute partnered with TFN. TMC developed the research design, coding scheme, and debrief interview instrument. AI and TMC shared responsibilities for project management, data coding, and analysis. TMC created this toolkit, and AI created the Getting Started with Pathways to Power quick-start guide.

Finally, this project was made possible by the generous funding and support of Way to Win. We’re deeply grateful for their trust in our vision.
